The International Faculty of SDA Bocconi School of Management has been further enriched with the arrival of Michael Spence, Nobel Prize Winner for Economics in 2001. For the coming years Spence will be protagonist in the classroom of the
Full-Time MBA
program. In the current edition Spence taught the course ‘Growth in the Emerging Economies’.
Nobel Prize Winner for Economics in 2001, together with George Akerlof e Joseph Stiglitz for their analyses of markets with asymmetric information, Spence is Professor of Economics at the New York University Stern School of Business and Philip H. Knight Professor Emeritus of Management at the Graduate School of Business of Stanford University. Spence is also President of the Commission on Growth and Development, an international policy group dedicated to promoting sustainable growth and poverty reduction in developing countries.
